A year later, Kilcher told a doctor in charge of insurance claims that he had been offered a job, but was unable to accept it due to severe neck pain from his injury, according to a statement from the insurance department.

From 2019 to 2021, Kilcher received $96,838 in temporary disability benefits.

A subsequent investigation found that Kilcher had been working on “Yellowstone” for several months in 2019, during which she claimed to have a disability, the department said.

“Records show she went back to her doctor and began receiving disability benefits five days after she last worked on the show,” the statement said.

Kilcher rose to stardom in 2005 at the age of 15 when he starred as Pocahontas in the award-nominated film The New World.

After appearing in the movie The Power of Few, she landed the title role in the 2009 feature Princess Kaiulani, playing a princess during the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy.

Kilcher also appeared in ‘Neverland’ and ‘Firelight’.
