U.S. fugitives from the Saudi-backed Gulf Escape have been accused of “betraying” the victims of the 9/11 terrorist atrocities in a stern letter from a major aid group.
A furious message was sent directly to representatives of Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, Patrick Reed and Kevin Na, claiming that they had become “accomplices” of the “whitewashing” of Saudi Arabia’s reputation by charging the controversial LIV. Invitation Series.
Referring to the prominent role played by Saudi Arabia in the attack, Terry Strada, president of 9/11 Families United, wrote:
“This is a betrayal not only of us, but of all your countrymen.”
Strada, who died in the attack, said: “Our community expresses its anger at your cooperation with LIV Golf and reminds you of the responsibility of your new business partner, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to provide financial and financial assistance to the terrorists. the logistical support that enabled us to attack our nation and kill our loved ones.
“As you know, 15 of the kidnappers of Osama bin Laden and the 9/11 kidnappers were Saudis. It is a Kingdom that has been denied for 20 years: lying about their activities and cowardly avoiding their responsibility.

“However, these are your partners, and to our dismay, you are happy to be in business with them.
“We are outraged by the role of Saudi Arabia in the deaths of our loved ones and the 9/11 wounded – your Americans – because you are so ready to help the Saudis cover this history. you help them provide coverage and they are willing to pay handsomely to manufacture.
“Please don’t insult the memories of our loved one and take a pathetic attitude, as a foreign colleague of yours did last week, saying ‘you’re playing a game’ or saying that you treat Saudi regime’s evil as a ‘human right.’ , very aware of the death and destruction of September 11th. ‘

The letter expresses an increase in the narrative fever surrounding the LIV rebel circuit, which has fueled the civil war between the new and old order of golf establishments, and has also sparked a conversation about sports clean-up.
