Gov. Greg Abbott takes notes at East Texas Remembrance Day ceremony

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott will deliver the keynote address at the Longview Remembrance Day ceremony on Monday.

Thanksgiving and Remembrance Day is being held at 11:25 a.m. at Teague Park in Longview.

The event will be broadcast live above.

On Remembrance Day, we remember those who died while serving our country.

After the ceremony, the governor will deliver remarks at the dedication ceremony of the cabin of the Boy Scout Squad 201.

The abbot was in Uwalde on Sunday, attending a visit by President Biden and the first lady to Texas to provide comfort and tribute to the 19 students and two teachers who lost their lives in a mass shooting last Tuesday.
