Gionee has announced a new budget smartphone called Gionee Max Pro that has been tailored to the budget segment. This will be the successor to the Gionee Max smartphone launched in India in August 2020.
The price of the Gionee Max was Rs 5,999, while the price of the Gionee Max Pro is Rs 6,999. Gionee Max Pro comes in the same colors as Gionee Max: black, red and blue. However, the design of the smartphone has changed a little.
GioneeMax’s 2GB RAM has increased to 3GB in the Pro variant. In addition to this, most other features, including CPU and GPU, are pretty much the same. Gionee Max Pro will be available in Flipkart starting March 8th.
Gionee Max Pro: Specifications
Gionee Max Pro features a 6.52-inch HD + display with 1560 x 720 pixels and a full-covered 2.5D curved glass. Below the display is a 1.6GHz octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor with the same IMG8322 GPU as the Gionee Max generation.
The RAM has been upgraded to 3GB, but the storage is the same as 32GB (eMMC 5.1). However, Gionee offers up to 256GB of expandable memory option on the microSD. The device runs on the latest generation Android 10 platform. The smartphone supports up to dual SIM in a nano + nano configuration with a separate sot for microSD.
As for the camera, the smartphone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a secondary bokeh lens to add depth and portrait mode. There is also an 8MP front camera that can be used for selfies.
Unlike some smartphones, Gionee does not abandon the device’s 3.5mm audio port and also adds FM radio capabilities. Gionee Max Pro is a 4G VoLTE smartphone equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS. Comes with a large capacity 6,000 battery that can be charged using the micro USB port. The Gionee Max Pro measures 165 x 75 x 10mm and weighs 212g.
