Dozens of General Electric employees walked out about the company’s vaccine mission.
More than 200 employees in New York protested the company’s vaccination obligations on Friday. This was after about 150 workers lined up outside the General Electric facility in South Carolina on Thursday.
GE said all staff must comply with federal orders and be vaccinated by 8 December. However, some protesters have stated that this is not about the actual vaccine, but about individual rights.
“They are not anti-vaccines, and we point it out in a letter. They are people who want to be able to choose whether to inoculate one of the COVID-19 vaccines, not antiscience.” Said lawyer James Lawrence. “It is a freedom to support the individual and an autonomous position to support the body.”

Governor Henry McMaster (RS.C.) initially said he would fight Joe Biden’s mission, but now said that companies will not stop mandating vaccines. He added that the state does not have the authority to do so.
