Firefighters say one person died and one was hospitalized after a mobile home fire at Canyon Lake

Canyon Lake, Texas – According to Canyon Lake firefighters, a mobile home fire at Canyon Lake killed one person and hospitalized another.

The fire was on Saturday at around 4:07 am, W. It occurred in 600 blocks on Clark Street.

Firefighters said they had been informed that they were still living inside, showing a big fire when the single-wide mobile home arrived.

The fire brigade was able to enter the house through the bedroom window while looking for the victims. The flames were intense when firefighters worked to extinguish the flames throughout the dwelling.

According to firefighters, an injured person was found in the backyard. They were taken to the Burn Treatment Unit at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio for further treatment.

Firefighters also found a deceased resident in the house. Their identities have not yet been disclosed and family notifications are pending.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by Comal County Fire Marshal’s Office and Comal County Sheriff’s Office.
