Democrat Matt Gray was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated Friday.

The police gave a warrant for the arrest of the local elementary school. Gray, 42, was previously set to run for re -election this year. In a post that ended today, Gray denied being drunk and lamented the incident of his sadness and anxiety.

“As many of you know, yesterday I was arrested on suspicion of DUI. I’m not drunk, but my symptoms of anxiety and depression are what make people so worried. all around them, “Gray wrote on Twitter.

Tennessee passed a bill requiring drunk drivers to pay child support if they kill a parent.

“I will increase my level of medicine and appreciate all the supports,” he added.

The tweet confirming the arrest was deleted and is no longer available. Gray’s account is open and public.

Gray was elected to the office in 2016. Prior to his tenure as state ambassador, he was a lawyer.
