  • Lee will return to court on July 22 on charges of attempted murder and on August 8 on charges of attempted murder in Chapel.

The man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle made a court appearance to report the state of the ambush on stage and denounce the attempted murder.

Isaiah Lee, 23, was arraigned in Los Angeles court on Thursday in connection with an attack on the stage by Dave Chappelle at the Hollywood Bowl last month.

His braid was depicted at the top of his horse’s tail with an arm sling that extended to a few fingers.

On May 3, Lee stormed the Los Angeles stage and tried to confront Chappelle with a folding knife tied to a fake firearm, in front of a large profile of people gathered like Elon Musk.

The comedian was able to sideline Lee, and there was no harm. Lee was arrested on the spot and taken to hospital with a broken arm.

He continued his trial on Thursday to make a state report to the court.

Lee has pleaded not guilty to four counts of felony criminal mischief following an assault, including possession of a weapon with intent to assault, unauthorized access to a stage during a performance, and an act that delays the event or obstructs the performer.

Lee also appeared in court on charges of attempted murder.

The 23-year-old was accused of stabbing his roommate in December in a “transitional housing program” reserved for the homeless.

Los Angeles District Attorney George Gascon acknowledged that advertising for the attack on Lee Chappelle helped the victim identify his alleged assailant.

“The publicity generated by the attack on Mr. Chappelle helped the police solve this crime,” Gascon said in a statement.

Lee will return to court on July 22 on charges of attempted murder and on August 8 on charges of attempted murder in Chapel.

Lee recently said he attacked Chapeller because the comedian was “launching” jokes about homosexuals and homelessness.

Last month, Lee told The New York Post that he didn’t like Chappelle’s answers.

“I identified as bisexual and wanted to know what was causing him what he was saying,” Lee said of the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.

“The next thing I wanted to know was that he had to consider that he would have to run according to the people who could affect his material.”

He said he was excited to see Chappelle’s session on Netflix’s live recording, but was increasingly outraged by the content.

He had been homeless before and said he was shocked and upset by the jokes.

“I’m also an only father and my son has five,” Lee told the newspaper.

“It’s a fight and I wanted Dave Chappelle to know that it’s not a joke.”

Her break-up point came when another comedian from the session joked about pedophilia, which brought back memories of being disturbed when she was 17, Lee said.

Asked about reports of mental health problems, Lee said they are “wrong” and “inaccurate.”

His lawyer, however, said he was receiving mental health services.
