CNBC’s Jim Cramer said Wednesday that he wasn’t ready to sell Nvidia’s stake, but recently made a profit on two other charitable trust winners, Advanced Micro Devices and Ford.
Cramer told the Fast Money Halftime Report that Nvidia believes it will be a $ 10 trillion stake in a day. Equities have so far surged 145% to reach a stock market value of over $ 800 billion.
It’s no secret that Cramer loves Nvidia, the world’s largest manufacturer of graphics and artificial intelligence chips. He even named his dog Nvidia. On TV and his investment club, the host of “Mad Money” is CEO Jensen on how Metaverse (or Nvidia’s recommended term Omniverse) can be used by companies to reduce waste and increase efficiency. I praised Nvidia’s vision.
During a trip to Silicon Valley last month, Kramer went to Nvidia headquarters and interviewed Huang. A few days later, the company reported higher-than-expected earnings and earnings in the third quarter, blasting forward guidance.
“I just went there and saw things. I went back in time with Jensen Huang. Time travel,” Kramer said on Wednesday with what he saw about the omniverse, Nvidia. Mentioned how this technology can be used in self-driving cars. “This could be a $ 10 trillion stock, so I admit it’s pork at Nvidia,” he reiterated.
Unlike Nvidia, Cramer recently adjusted its positions with Advanced Micro Devices and Ford. “I’m a pig at Nvidia. I’ve decided I can’t be a pig at Ford anymore,” he added, adding that his confidence “doubled” the sale of Ford’s stake in late October. “I couldn’t be a pig at AMD,” he said, with an average profit of 80%.
Kramer revealed Wednesday morning that his trust had sold some AMD shares. In his investment club newsletter, he told members that the sale of AMD was “only for portfolio management purposes, not a change to the company’s bullish long-term view.”
