Cherelle Griner had two very different phone calls with her wife. Britney Griner, since the WNBA star was arrested in Russia for drug possession in February. Sherrell said his wife is “at the weakest point of her life right now” and fears she will be forgotten in Russia.

“She’s telling me things like, ‘I don’t care about my life anymore,'” Sherrell said. “‘I feel like I don’t care about my life. I’m just thrown out for people’s enjoyment and gain.'”
