Ottawa (Reuters) -Canada’s antitrust watcher said Friday that he had obtained a court order to investigate whether Google’s online advertising business was negatively impacting competition.

A court order from the Competition Bureau “requires Google to produce records and written information related to the Bureau’s investigation,” the statement said. “The Bureau’s investigation is ongoing and there are no conclusions of fraud at this time.”
