Browns Garrett makes Halloween QB creepy

Berea, Ohio – Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is working on a quarterback in the field and burying it in the front yard.

The NFL’s sack leader adorned the lawn of a suburban home in seven opposite quarterback mock graveyards, including Ben Roethlisberger in Pittsburgh, Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, and Joe Burrow in Cincinnati.

Garrett, a self-proclaimed Halloween fanatic, also has a double-decker skeleton and numerous pumpkins as part of a thematic exhibit.

“People in my house want to have fun,” said Garrett, who grinned after Friday’s practice. “I’ve always done something for Halloween since I was little. My family and my friends thought it would be something cool. Still fun.”

Kyler Murray in Arizona, Justin Fields in Chicago, Mac Jones in New England, and Justin Herbert in the Chargers are also part of Garrett’s house exhibit.

Garrett, who won seven bags in the first five games, set a 4 1/2 franchise record against Fields on September 26th. He defeated Herbert last week and will face Murray at FirstEnergy Stadium on Sunday.

The two Pro Bowl selections said he was amazed at the amount of traffic his display brought to the neighborhood, but he has no plans to remove it by October 31st.

“I can’t say no to the kids, so I’ll definitely give them candy for Halloween,” Garrett said. “But grown-up men and women don’t. Hopefully they can leave me because it’s my shelter and place of residence.”
