London (Reuters) – UK hospitals are still under pressure and the UK is not yet coexistent with COVID-19, Senior Minister Michael Gove said Monday.

When asked how long rapid inspections will be offered free of charge, Housing Minister Gove said it is an important tool for curbing an unfinished pandemic.

“We are moving into a situation where we can live with COVID and we can say that the pressure on the NHS and important public services has eased,” he told Sky News.

“But it’s imperative to realize that we’re not there yet … it’s going to be difficult in the coming weeks.”
