Brewers Freddy Peralta is a no-hitter no-run until 6am on his birthday

Milwaukee – Milwaukee Brewers’ right-handed Freddy Peralta celebrates his 25th birthday with no-hitters up to six times against Arizona Diamondbacks.

Peralta preempted Josh Rojas in a Friday night match, then retired 14 consecutive hitters and then killed Josh Reddick twice in the fifth inning. He has 9 outs and 2 steps on 91 pitches.

Brewers leads 4-0.

Arizona is approaching a hit several times.

After Rojas drew his first lead-off walk, Carson Kelly hit a long drive to the center and Jackie Bradley Jr. caught it on the warning course. Bradley also scored a second diving catch to retire Pavin Smith, who hit 14 consecutive games.

Brewers first baseman Daniel Vogelbach robbed Smith of the liner in the fifth inning.
