Blinken calls for swift negotiations over Ethiopia’s military expansion

Blinken was very concerned about Ethiopia’s military escalation and called for urgent negotiations over the crisis, a US State Department spokesman said.

Comments were made hours after Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed appeared at the forefront of the armed forces.
