President Joe Biden’s policies are under scrutiny after 51 people were found dead in San Antonio, Texas in a homicide operation. Officials are investigating the cause of the death, which occurred in a tractor-trailer, and officials are clear about one thing: the driving rules do not apply.

After receiving reports of the incident, Texas Governor Greg Abbott mourned the deaths over President Biden. He added that the event was a result of the President’s public policy. Meanwhile, San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg has tried to be diplomatic with his comments about the incident, despite the seriousness of the situation.

“We work, you see, to help immigrants who are seeking asylum like us throughout the year, every year,” the Mayor said. “We’ve seen a huge increase over the last six months, 12 months in terms of, you know, policies… our idea now is to try to take help with them to as far as we can, but this is not short. it is a terrible human tragedy. “

On Monday, more than 40 foreigners were found in or near an abandoned car park in what authorities believe was human smuggling. At that time, 16 survivors were taken to nearby hospitals. Some of them later died, and more than 50 died.

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Oberador offered his condolences to the victims, calling the U.S.-Mexico border “disgraceful” and “uncontrollable.” He confirmed that 22 of those killed were Mexican nationals. Lopez Obrador complained of poor government policies and humanitarian smugglers for the event.

“These tragic events are about the state of poverty and anxiety of our brothers in the United States and Mexico,” the Mexican president said. “It’s being done because there’s human trafficking and a lack of power on the border between Mexico and the United States and within the United States.”

Critics have challenged Biden’s restrictive policies since his tenure in office. The leader has witnessed the largest increase in border breaches in more than 20 years by foreigners coming across the southern border. The policies viewed under the microscope relate to his attempt to overthrow the Trump-era ‘Remain in Mexico’ and Title 42 policies that sought to protect immigrants from the U.S. for health reasons or the processing of their immigration application.

Biden also cut funding for border projects, requiring states like Texas and Arizona to protect the federal border on themselves and only state resources. In addition, while Biden is looking to end immigration policies during Trump’s tenure, border officials fear more than likely the event will move sideways. Human rights officials fear the collapse of the southern border will only encourage foreigners to go on a dangerous journey to a free country.

“(Migrants) pay $ 8,000-12,000, the dead are also paying, but they stay to pay for five, ten years,” explained Luis Garcia Villagran, worker and administrator at Human Dignity Center. “It’s the new slave that politicians have created.”

However, President Biden said he blamed him for his “excessive” border policies and that it was similar to what human smugglers were doing. He stressed his alleged anti-smuggling campaign with what he called “local partners are starting and working.” Biden said more than 2,400 smugglers were arrested as a result.

The U.S. president also expressed hope that he would continue his work to bring the smugglers to justice. However, his border czar, Kamala Harris, only gave comments to the victims and promised to do something in a tweet.

Now, Biden is ready to meet with Mexican President Lopez Obrador in mid -July after being criticized by a socialist leader at the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles, California.
