The White House announced that President Joe Biden has tested positive for COIVD-19 and that his symptoms are almost gone. In a statement on Wednesday, President Kevin O’Connor’s doctor said Biden will not be isolated after testing positive last night and Wednesday morning.
During a press conference from the Rose Garden on Wednesday, the President thanked his medical staff and said he was looking forward to returning to work. According to O’Connor, the President ended his treatment with Paxlovid.

Biden will undergo repeated tests in the coming days to make sure he is not sick again. White House chief of staff Dr. Anthony Fauci praised his Paxlovid regimen, saying it gave him a mild illness. He advised Americans to get another booster shot for the new strain of COVID-19.
