An amazing moment when a 16-year-old Mustang driven by a SUV hits a tree and kills 3 teenagers

Surveillance movies show a moving moment when a SUV driven by a 16-year-old man crossed a crossroads when he was hit by a SUV and hit a tree in half and killed three.

Images of the Ring Camera obtained by Staten Island Advance show the tragic moment when Jesie Gil, 15, and Fernanda Gil, 16, and their friend Ashley Rodriguez, 15, died on Saturday night.

The driver, an unidentified 16-year-old man, can be seen driving down a luxury car down Hylan Boulevard when a 2017 GMC Yukon turns left.

The Mustang is seen turning toward the sidewalk before cutting off the corner of the Yukon, which is in the middle of the turn. He reportedly drove the car away from the camera and hit a tree, causing two 15-year-olds in the back seat to get out of the vehicle.

The ring is displayed on the camera again, rotating on the road, before crossing and hitting a telephone pole.

The horrific surveillance images show the moment a Mustang carried four teenagers on Saturday night and collided with a GMC Yukon, killing three teenagers.

After the two collided, the Mustang fell out of sight and crashed into a tree, knocking Ashley Rodriguez and Jesie Gil, both 15, out of the car.

According to the NYPD, the red mustang was heading east at “unsafe speeds,” while the Yukon was heading west and ready to turn left.

Police are unable to confirm the speed, as NYC speed cameras only operate from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It will run for 24 hours from August 1, according to the Staten Island Advance.

Fernanda, who was in the front of the car, was taken to Staten Island University Hospital North, but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Ashley and Jesie were found dead at the scene, and while the driver of the mustang was taken to hospital, he remains in a serious but stable condition.

A police source told Staten Island Advance that the driver was only allowed to study and had to have an adult licensee in the car.

The red Mustang was completely shattered by the impact of the collision, its airbags exploding and broken windows across the street.

The black SUV had four passengers inside, a 44-year-old woman, a 19-year-old woman, a 23-year-old man and an 11-year-old woman.

All suffered minor injuries and were taken by EMS to Staten Island University Hospital North.

Yukon driver Maher Asi-Mahmoud, 47, was arrested on suspicion of driving while his driver’s license was suspended.

The NYPD’s Highway Collision Investigation Squad is investigating, and no allegations have been filed in connection with the horrific accident.

“Hylan Boulevard is the Boulevard of Death on Staten Island,” Rose Uscianowski of Staten Island Transportation Alternatives and South Brooklyn organizer told Staten Island Advance.

The three teenagers are among the 123 traffic fatalities in five neighborhoods this year.

Paying tribute to the trio, Fernanda and Jesse explained that they have an “unbreakable bond”.

Ashley, who was riding in the back of the vehicle with Jesse, was planning her Sweet 16th birthday party next week.

Ashley’s sister Giselle Cruz posted a GoFundMe link on the net, writing, “Anything will help, my sister’s baby was only 15 years old, a participation will also be greatly appreciated.”

“My Ashley, rest in peace, the only sister I had is now gone, but flying up. Forever My Little Angel. ‘

The fundraiser has raised more than $ 25,000.

Fernanda and Jesse’s funeral visit is Friday from 5pm to 9pm at Martin Hughes Funeral Home on Staten Island.

A friend of Fernanda and Jesie’s family has also created a GoFundMe page to raise money for a sibling funeral.

The $ 30,000 target has reached $ 24,000 since Friday afternoon.

They wrote: “Fernanda was the kindest, most thoughtful and supportive person I have ever met.

“He had a beautiful soul and was always cheerful. He and his brother were always so close and had an unbreakable bond.

“Jessie was a shy person, but very funny at times, even Ashley. Fernanda and her family were very close and I can imagine the pain they are suffering at the moment.

“Heaven received three beautiful angels to rest in paradise.”

Juan Sanchez, the teen’s uncle, paid tribute to his nephew, telling the New York Daily News: “It’s like a nightmare. Their parents are broken.

“We’re trying right now [to plan the funeral] she was helping us arrange a wedding with someone. We’ve never been in this situation before. ‘

While Jesie attended Tottenville High School while her older sister attended New Dorp High School, the relatives confirmed that they were the children of their parents.
