Amazon.com named a longtime leader Doug Harrington as his new boss of world stores after leaving Dave Clarkwho managed its warehousing and e-commerce operations.
Mr. Herinton, a 17-year Amazon veteran, will receive the new title of CEO of Worldwide Amazon Stores, CEO of Amazon Andy Iasi said in a note to company employees on Tuesday. Mr. Clark served as CEO of Worldwide Consumer, where he oversaw the company’s consumer-focused website as well as extensive logistics and delivery network. John Feltonalso a long-time senior Amazon executive who worked under Mr Clark will become the new head of the company and will report to Mr Herrington, Mr Jesse said.
