Software company Adobe said Friday that US employees would need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 by December 8.

In an email to employees read by CNBC, Adobe said the policy was due to President Biden’s executive order to have federal contractors vaccinate all employees.

An email sent by Adobe Chief Human Resources Officer Gloria Chen found that 93.5% of U.S. employees who responded to an internal survey were already fully vaccinated or had a series of vaccinations. It states.

Mr Chen said Adobe would consider religious and medical exemptions for employees who could not be vaccinated.

An Adobe spokesman reviewed Chen’s email to CNBC.

The policy is the same as IBM’s, telling US employees this month that they must be vaccinated or take unpaid leave for Biden’s executive order.
