According to police, a 60-year-old man was attacked by a pickup truck on the access road of Loop 410.

San Antonio According to San Antonio police, a 60-year-old man is in crisis after hitting a pickup truck on Loop 410’s access road early Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred at about 3:45 am on the 11400 block of South East Loop 410, not far from Roosevelt Avenue on the south side of the city.

According to police, the man was drinking and walking on the access road of Loop 410 when he was attacked by a white pickup truck.

SAPD said he had received several phone calls about a man walking in the middle of the access road before the crash. According to police, the car had to turn so as not to hit him.

The injured man was taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center. His name was not disclosed.

The San Antonio Police Station, San Antonio Fire Department, and EMS all answered the phone.

Police said the pickup truck driver was not expected to stop and be charged to provide assistance.
