San Antonio – A woman was killed and two others were injured in a chain reaction clash between five vehicles near the Alamodome and just east of downtown.
The crash occurred on Saturday around 9 pm on IH-37 North and Florida Street.
According to police, after the concert at the Alamodome, there was heavy traffic on the freeway when the pickup truck turned to avoid a traffic accident while the car was stopped.
However, according to SAPD, this led to a chain reaction crash involving five vehicles.
A woman in her twenties had to be pulled out of the car and was sentenced to death at the scene, officials said.
According to police, the other two were taken to a local hospital to treat their injuries and their condition is unknown.
No other injuries were reported and the crew processed the site, closing the IH-37 Northbound.
