SAN ANTONIO – A robbery task force of the San Antonio Police Department has arrested a second suspect involved in a series of robberies in the area that began late last year.
Ozzy Losoya, 34, was arrested at work on Thursday on charges of robbery with weights. Police said he and another suspect, Michael Kane, have committed seven robberies at hair salons, fruit shops and two small telephone businesses since November 2021.
According to the SAPD, Kane was sentenced to arrest last week.
The task force gathered video surveillance and collected evidence from the robberies before they could link Losoya and Cain to the crimes.
Officers found stolen property, clothing and identified 34 victims of the robbery, including two children aged 8 and 9. SAPD said they have six arrest warrants for Losoya and Cain together.
Police said they had caught all the suspects involved and hoped this would lead to the deaths.
We will bring more updates to this story as they become available.
