SAN ANTONIO – Police in San Antonio are investigating after a woman was shot in the parking lot of the South Side bar on Monday morning.
Police said the 29-year-old woman left the R&J salon in block 4900 on S. Flores Street around 3:15 a.m. and drove to her car.
She was talking to an employee of the parking bar when a man wearing a mask and dressed in black approached her car and opened fire, police said.
The woman was bitten in the arm and she went to call for help. Police said medical assistance was provided on the spot due to the injury.
A preliminary SAPD report states that her vehicle has several bullet holes.
The attacker left the scene before police arrived. SAPD is looking for the shooter in the area, but does not find him.
