SAN ANTONIO – A 25-year-old man was hospitalized in danger of death after a dispute led to a shooting in the northern part of the city.
Police in San Antonio were called to West Hildebrand and Aganier boulevards for a shooting on Friday night.
Police said a dispute between two men in their early 20s and the victim followed when their husband told them to quit their jobs. The two men followed the other man in a vehicle and then opened fire, hitting him.
After the shooting, the two suspects tried to leave the area, but eventually crashed their car, police said.
The suspects fled the incident in West Hildebrand. The suspect then tried to cross an intersection and was hit by a second vehicle, police said. They fled on foot.
Officers searched the area for the suspects, but were unable to find anyone.
The victim was taken to a life-threatening university hospital, officials said.
No other injuries were reported.
