A man arrested for sexual offenses with children 2 days before starting work as a temporary prisoner in Bexar County, BCSO reported

SAN ANTONIO – A 20-year-old man was arrested with an active warrant for a sexual crime with children two days before starting work at the Bexar County Jail, according to authorities.

Alucard Harris was wanted for online attraction of a minor with the intention of sexual intercourse. He was arrested on Saturday, but was due to start work as a temporary prisoner on Monday.

Deputies were summoned to a home in the remote West Bexar County for “shouting sexual assault on a minor”, according to a press release. Following further investigation, lawmakers said the victim identified Harris through the Snapchat social media app, which officials said he used to communicate with her.

As the investigation progressed, lawmakers later learned that Harris had applied to work for the BCSO. As a result of his arrest, officials said his conditional job offer would be withdrawn.

Harris was detained at Bexar County Jail on bail of $ 100,000.
