A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook the Los Angeles area with no reported damage

A magnitude 3.6 quake shook Southern California early Sunday, awakening some inhabitants from sleep, but apparently caused little, if any, damage.

The damage was not reported immediately and Los Angeles County did not issue a shake alert in the seismic app.

“#Earthquake early alert alerts are sent for events measured as M4.5,” the county said on Twitter. “This quake felt widespread, but it was below the limit.”

The County Sheriff’s Office said it was felt downtown, Warn residents to perform safety checks At their home or company.

Many Californians have taken the latest earthquake in one fell swoop.

“”You know you are from california It’s too early to react to the quake, so all you have to do is turn around and go to sleep. “
