The waters of Lake Mead in Nevada have uncovered human remains and a historical record. This week, a body was found lying on the shore of the lake as the water level reached an all-time low.
The body is the third to be found after two others earlier this year that prompted authorities to investigate their cause. However, many people believe that there are social issues when the first body is examined more than a decade ago. A fourth body was also found Thursday that authorities said was from a 31-year-old motorcyclist who was reported missing and presumed dead.
“Park rangers are on the scene and have set up a perimeter to recover the remains,” the National Park Service said in a statement. “The Clark County Medical Examiner has been contacted to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing. “

It’s not yet known if it was a man or a woman, but Clark County Coroner Melanie Rouse said the body was found in the sand on a receding beach north of the Hemenway Harbor Marina.
