Police said a doctoral student at Columbia University was stabbed and killed near a Manhattan campus on Thursday by a member of the gang arrested after stabbing a 27-year-old tourist 15 minutes later.
Davide Giri, 30, a PHD candidate for computer science, died after being stabbed by Every Body Killer, a 25-year-old member of the Bloods Gang sect. The New York Post reported.
Police arrested members of the gang after finding Italian tourists injured in multiple puncture wounds on the torso of West 110th Street and Cathedral Parkway. Members of the gang were later discovered in Central Park and threatened 30 third men with a large kitchen knife.
The injured tourist was taken to a nearby hospital and reported to be in stable condition.

A 25-year-old suspect in Bloods offshoot gang Every Body Killer was detained after police found him threatening a third man with a large kitchen knife.
According to police, a member of the 25-year-old gang had a long wrap sheet that included robbery, assault, and other alleged crimes.
He was previously convicted of a gang assault in 2015 and served two years in prison, according to state corrections bureau records.
