A young man was caught on video at a surveillance camera holding a Michigan gas station in his hand demanding money from an ATM.
The images show a 12-year-old slender man waiting quietly in line in Hartford, with his hand in his backpack, in front of a customer paying for petrol.
When he reaches the beginning of the line he pulls a gun out of his black bag and demands money.
– Put your money in your purse! says the boy calmly. The cashier appears disbelieving at first with the request and asks, ‘Are you serious?’

To make sure he sees his request as legitimate, the boy throws it to the ceiling.
The woman behind the counter shudders, but then pulls a purse out of the box and quickly hands it to the child, “Go away!”
When the boy leaves, he tries to reload the gun, but it bothers him. One of the shells is seen falling to the ground.
Then the child comes out calmly as if nothing had happened.
Before 4 p.m., Wednesday, 911 senders received a call about armed robbery at the East Main Street Marathon gas station, just one block from the police station.
Police picked up the boy immediately minutes later.
Hartford Police Chief Tressa Beltran was charged without incident and charged with burglary, assault with a dangerous weapon and throwing a firearm at Van Buren County Family Court on Thursday.

Agents believe the child informed another student at his school that he intended to commit armed robbery before pulling a gun out of his grandfather’s locked box.
The grandfather, who is the child’s legal guardian, told police he did not know his grandson could enter the safe.
A sign on his front door read: ‘There are no comments, no photos at this time. I need to live in this town and get some sleep. ‘
The boy, who is attending Hartford Middle School, is being held at the Allegan County Juvenile Center, where he will remain until a trial at the end of the month.
“I thought it was a kid who wasn’t even 10 years old,” a store employee named Jessica told News Channel 3.
The cashier takes out a blue bag with the cash from the gas station box and delivers it to him.
The woman puts the cash in the boy’s backpack and shouts ‘Get out!’
“It simply came to our notice then. I seriously thought it was a joke until I heard it hit the gun.
“Because part of me wanted to hold on to the baby because he has so many problems, then it’s hard to feel bad when he does something like that,” Jessica said.
“I’ve always thought that if they were stealing money from me, it wouldn’t cost me my life.”
Police say the boy was not given a reason to find out why he committed the robbery.
“Every day I see something new in this work. I have been a full-time police officer for 38 years. What really impressed me was that he didn’t show any emotion, “said Hartford Lieutenant Mike Prince.
“He told us he didn’t do it for the money. He said he would throw the money down the drain. He wouldn’t tell us why he did it. “
