Expected distribution of J & J single-dose COVID vaccine this week

Johnson & Johnson began distributing vaccines on Sunday, adding a third weapon to the country’s COVID-19 weapons. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Board unanimously voted on Sunday to recommend the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky approved the recommendation shortly thereafter. The Johnson & Johnson shot was approved Friday by the Food and Drug Administration for people over the age of 18. All you need is one dose, no freezing. Johnson & Johnson said it will begin shipping the COVID-19 vaccine on Sunday and will provide enough single-shot vaccines by the end of March.
