SAN ANTONIO – A shooting in the northwestern part of the city ended with two dead, one person was seriously injured and the suspect is still on the run, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting took place around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday in Block 5500 on Fredericksburg Road, west of I-10.
Police were initially called in to shoot. When officers arrived, they found that three victims had been shot dead – two women and a man. It is not known which of the victims was killed and which is in critical condition.
The suspect reportedly approached the victims’ car, pulled out a gun and opened fire inside, authorities said.
All three were hit by the shooting, and two of the victims were found dead on the spot. The EMC took the third victim to a district hospital for further treatment.
Very few witnesses saw what happened, and officials said the suspect was still on the run. More details about the suspects or their motives are not known.
